An informative talk was held at the Central Immigration Headquarters for judges and officials of the National Criminal and Correctional Justice, in order to expedite procedures linked to foreigners in conflict with criminal law.
Present at the event were the head of the DNM, Sebastián Seoane; the General Director of Legal Technique, Ignacio Rial; the director of Judicialized Foreigners, Javier Rea; and the director of Immigration, Juan De Carli, among other immigration officials, as well as magistrates and experts in the judicial field.
During the meeting, crucial aspects of the Migration Law No. 25,871 were addressed, the control of the permanence of foreigners in the national territory, migratory impediments and the expulsion procedure of migrants in conflict with the law. At the same time, good practices and joint work methodologies were shared between both areas.
The DNM reaffirms its commitment to continuous training and inter-institutional cooperation, convinced that these spaces for dialogue and training are essential to strengthen the link between the different powers of the State and promote agile mechanisms adapted to current challenges.
