The National Directorate of Migration, dependent on the Vice Chief of Staff of the Interior, ordered the exemption of the Argentine consular visa requirement for nationals of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, holders of ordinary passports, when their entry into the country is carried out on a temporary basis.
According to the resolution, Saudi citizens will be able to enter the national territory without the need for a consular visa, as long as they meet the following requirements: they enter the country on a temporary basis, in accordance with the provisions of article 24 of Law No. 25,871 of Migrations, which establishes subcategories such as tourists or international transport crew members; are holders of a valid and current visa in similar categories for entry to the United States; and manage an Electronic Travel Authorization (AVE).
The visa exemption procedure will be implemented once the National Directorate of Migration can verify the validity of the visas with the competent authorities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The measure aims to promote commercial, tourist and cultural relations, streamline migration processes and strengthen international cooperation.
