On the occasion of the final of the Copa Libertadores between Atlético Mineiro and Botafogo, the National Directorate of Migration (DNM) reinforces attention at border crossings, at the Ezeiza International Airport and the Jorge Newbery Airport to guarantee an agile and safe flow of fans of both teams.
At the land crossings, we worked in coordination with the Ministry of National Security, the Secretariat of Tourism, Environment and Sports and the Ministry of Security of the City of Buenos Aires to guarantee the security of the operation in its various instances. To enter the country, differential access was coordinated for each club’s fans.
In this way, at the Iguazú border crossing, intended mainly for Atlético Mineiro fans, operational capacity will be increased with the availability of 180 agents in the 85 service stations, which will ensure efficient and rapid control.
On the other hand, in Paso de los Libres, where approximately 75 buses with Botafogo fans are expected to cross, 110 agents will be deployed for the 60 service stations.
Immigration agents will also be strategically distributed at the Ezeiza and Aeroparque airports to ensure that fans can complete immigration control more quickly.
These measures seek to speed up the flow of people and guarantee that entry is carried out safely and without delays, allowing fans to enjoy the sporting event calmly and without inconvenience.
