With the clear objective of strengthening a federal management and the best functioning of migrations in its dependencies throughout the country, the agency made a new meeting at the headquarters of the DNM headed by its owner, Horacio García, in which the representatives participated of the 31 delegations and that was organized by the Directorate of Delegations that Fernanda Gallardo drives.
At the opening, Garcia highlighted the current relevance of the immigration issue: “It is increasingly important for this issue The orientation of migratory flows. It seems to me that there, Migrations will have a very prominent role. We have to train and we have the invaluable, very important support of the IOM (International Organization for Migration) and the ACNUR (High Commissioner of the United Nations for Refugees), because today Argentina is open to the world. ”
The day continued from blocks in which specific themes were discussed, whose explanation was in charge of different officials, including Osmar Alza, director of International Affairs; María Eugenia Flores, head of the Department of Analysis and Development of the General Directorate of Information Systems and Technology; Romina Genovese, head of the certifications department; Mariela Espinosa who exhibited on institutional communication and social networks; Sergio Franco, director of judicialized foreigners, together with Martín Ferlauto, advisor to the latter address; Cristina Ciancio, director of migratory social affairs; Diego Puente, coordinator of Patagonia; María Cecilia Russo, Collection and Finance Director; and María Estela Moreno, head of the Internal Audit Unit.
In the course of the deliberations, Horacio García granted recognition to the delegates, regarding the day made the day before in the launch of the space for diversity, gender and social integration.
