Foz do Iguaçu/PR. The federal police and military are reinforcing inspection and patrol of the Paraná River, in Foz do Iguaçu, to combat the number of traffickers and smugglers at this time of the end of the year.
On the night of the fifth day (12/12), the team of federal police and the BPF identified some ships making an irregular crossing from Paraguai to Brazil in the Porto Meira region. When you look nearby you will find a vehicle loaded with hundreds of packages of foreign cigarettes.
Early in the morning of this sixth fair (12/13), a box was intercepted with eleven boxes of foreign cigarettes, after disembarking in a clandestine port on the Paraná River.
Not starting late, it was identified that smugglers were trying to introduce imported goods into the country through a modality known as rappelling. The police team managed to apprehend volumes of products such as notebooks and electronic cigarettes in the river ravine near Cabeceira da Ponte.
All material was sent to the Federal Revenue office in Foz do Iguaçu for the implementation of administrative measures.
