Rio de Janeiro/RJ. On the third day, 12/31, the Federal Police arrested a woman in flagrante with nearly 3 kg of cocaine, at the Rio de Janeiro International Airport. The prisoner, 25 years old and a native of Manaus/AM, intended to embark on a commercial flight to the capital of Portugal, Lisbon.
During routine inspections, federal police carry out arrests in flagrante to identify drugs hidden in the lateral structure of the wrong vehicle dispatched through the passage.
After the arrest warrant was released in flagrante, the prisoner was sent to the state prison system, where she will remain at the disposal of Justice. She will answer for the crime of international drug trafficking, whose sentence could be 25 years in prison.
