Manaus/AM. The Federal Police began the explosion of the Rota Detour Operation, in the last sixth fair (10/1), with the objective of dismantling an association dedicated to interstate drug trafficking, which operates from Manaus/AM.
After the flagrant arrest of two cases, it was possible to identify a structured scheme that uses air transport to transport illicit substances between Brazilian states.
The investigation suggests that the criminal group acted in an organized manner, with the division of tasks among its members, including the armament, transportation, and recruitment of people to act as transporters of illicit substances.
Three preventive arrest warrants and five search and domiciliary arrest warrants were issued by the State Justice of Amazonas, which were completed within a week. During these proceedings, electronic devices, documents, and other materials relevant to the investigation were seized.
The Federal Police emphasizes that the investigation is ongoing and that new actions could be unleashed to completely dismantle the criminal group and identify the others involved.
Those involved may respond, to the extent of their culpability, to the crimes of interstate drug trafficking and association for trafficking.
