Cáceres/MT. The Federal Police deflagrou this fifth day, 19/12, in Lambari D’Oeste/MT, the fourth phase of the operation Silêncio dos Inocentes, an action intended to combat the weaponization and dissemination of images and videos containing sexual abuse of children and adolescents . The federal police are carrying out a search and arrest warrant issued by the Federal Justice – Subseção de Cáceres.
The operation is another chapter in the fight against crimes that seriously violate the rights of childhood and adolescence. With strategic actions and the use of police intelligence, the PF reinforces its commitment to the identification and responsibility of those involved in the production and circulation of illicit material.
As investigations were initiated after a complaint that a suspicion would be in possession of materials containing child and adolescent sexual abuse. The case reinforces the importance of participation in society, with reporting being a fundamental instrument for the authorities to identify and coíbam the circulation of criminal content.
During the operation, there are collected elements that will be analyzed to deepen the investigations and expand the scope of the action. The objective is to identify other possibilities involved in distribution networks of this type of illicit material, expanding and combating this abominable practice.
Mobilizing human and technological resources, PF reinforces its commitment to the protection of children and adolescents, acting relentlessly to prevent and repress crimes of sexual exploitation in the digital environment and outside of it, protecting the most vulnerable and ensuring justice.
