São Paulo/SP. The Federal Police deflated, on the last sixth day (12/27), the operation Retorno Veiled, which commits crimes against the financial system, money laundering and bank fraud.
The investigation was initiated following the communication of a financial institution, which had been a victim of qualified theft by electronic means, in which more than R$ 35 thousand were stolen from money reserves, during the days August 11 and 12, 2024. Or subtracted value would have been pulverized by transfer method via PIX.
During the investigations, a preventive arrest warrant and a search and arrest warrant were served, in addition to the cancellation of the passport of the investigated person. A patrimonial security measure was also adopted, with the determination of unavailability of assets and securities.
Afterwards, or investigated, he remained domiciled outside the country for three months, returning to Brazil during the Natal period. The investigation continues to clarify the circumstances of the subtradition and identify the others involved.
