The National Directorate of Migration of the Argentine Republic, an agency dependent on the Ministry of the Interior, reminds us of the necessary documentation to leave the country if traveling on a long weekend.
Argentines and residents who wish to travel to Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Ecuador, Venezuela, Peru or Colombia can do so by presenting their DNI or Passport. If you travel to any other country, you must present your current Argentine Passport, with or without a visa depending on the destination.
If you are traveling with minors, remember to obtain the corresponding authorization to leave the national territory. You can process it in more than 100 immigration offices throughout the country.
To avoid unforeseen events before embarking on your vacation or getaway, do not forget to verify that your travel document is current, in good condition and that it is the latest version.
