The start of audits in the Border Center implies an outstanding advance to relieve, assess and verify compliance with migratory control standards. Undoubtedly, due to its deployment, it is a relevant initiative because the work includes Mercosur countries and associated states.
In the case of Argentina, the National Directorate of Migration (DNM) of the Ministry of Interior, Public Works and Housing and the General Union of the Nation participate.
This audit task started at the northwest end of the country, in La Quiaca (Jujuy Province), and will be reproduced in different strategic steps of the territory in order to contribute to homologating processes and agreeing in the main border enclaves.
On this occasion, in the city bounded with Villazón (Bolivia), María Estela Moreno, head of the DNM Internal Audit Unit; Juan José Capella, Terrestrial Control Director; Jesús Olcoz, attached internal auditor of the Interior portfolio; Diego Loia, Deputy Jurisdictional Trustee, Sergio Rana, Auditor of the Ministry of Interior; Juan Lamb, mobile operational coordinator of the General Directorate of Migration Movement; Alejandra Geracaris, deputy regional supervisor; Roberto Edgard Nordmann, Regional Supervisor Region I; and Fermín Quiñones, Head of the International Pass La Quiaca.
